Planner Scheduler

Salary Range:

$62,000 – $103,400 per year


Key Responsibilities

  • Forecast materials to ensure efficient supply-demand balance and manageable inventory costs
  • Match board grades to production orders for customer satisfaction
  • Generate and share daily and weekly production reports
  • Coordinate with supply chain to plan schedules and oversee finished goods
  • Optimize press schedules for utilization, low waste, and cost efficiency
  • Creatively adapt schedules to meet changing customer demands
  • Collaborate with maintenance and other departments for equipment repairs and inspections
  • Lead production planning with other facilities, especially during new press startups
  • Take on a leadership role to support customer needs and facility operations
  • Maintain compliance with food safety, safety, and quality regulations
  • Supervise SAP production clerk and utilize SAP as a power user
  • Manage product shipment schedules in case of stock recovery or recall

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Business Administration or related field, or equivalent experience
  • Strong communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficiency in company computer systems (SAP experience preferred)
  • Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment focused on customer satisfaction
  • Ability to motivate, train, and delegate responsibilities
  • Knowledge of safety, production, quality, and inventory metrics
  • Willingness to be available 24/7 as needed
  • Sound business judgment and flexibility for quick decision-making
  • Ability to work collaboratively across departments
